NOUN CLAUSE

    Noun Clause adalah Clause (i,e,subject & verb) yang difungsikan sebagai Noun. Noun Clause didalam kalimat pada umumnya digunakan sebagai Subject  & Object kalimat Noun Clause daat diawali oleh :
- Question Word / Relative Pronoun baik berupa single Question Word maupun Phrase.
- Single Question Word (i,e, when,how,what,ect).
- Question Word + determiner / Noun / adjective / adverb.
- Question word + Infinitive.
- Conjunction (i,e, whether & if ).
- That atau The fact that, sehingga pola dari Noun Clause adalah :
Question Word / Conjunction / That + S + Vb + ...
Noun Clause dapat dibagi menjadi 4 macam, yaitu statement, question, request, exclamation.

*  Statement (where, how, who, when, why)

Klausa yang diawali dengan pertanyaan biasanya digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan.

Contoh :

1.      Where is the place to exchange foreign currency?

 I don’t know where the place to exchange foreign currency

2.      When I get interest from bank?

 I don’t know when you get interest from bank

   *  Question (whether dan if)

Klausa kata yang diawali dengan whether atau if digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan yang bertipe yes/no question.

Contoh :

1.      Does I could invest in the company's goods and services?

 I don’t know if you could invest in the company's goods and services

2.      Can that food companies overcome financial problems?

Whether that food companies overcome financial problems doesn’t concern me

   * Request (that)

Klausa kata yang diawali dengan kata that berfungsi untuk menjawab pertanyaan dari orang yang sedang berpikir dan memberikan opini.

Contoh :

1.      Is BNI Banks are good at saving money?

I think that BNI Banks is bad to saving money

   *  Exclamation (what)

Kata tanya yang dipakai pada kalimat itu sendiri.

1.      What a good quality food PT. INDOFOOD is?

I never realized what good quality food PT. INDOFOOD is
